I started Morreale Digital after 15 years of working client side as the person who hired video crews. It taught me what good video actually costs, and what it doesn't.
My background is varied. I've been a CBC Radio producer, a corporate marketer, a non-profit director, and a strategy consultant, so I've sat on both sides of the table, hiring video and making it.
My work has been published in Maclean's, The Guardian, The Globe and Mail, PBS, and CTV News. I've recorded prominent artists, CEOs and most notably, ordinary people with something to say. My clients range from those with decades of experience in front of the camera to those appearing on camera for the first time.
The work itself is technical, personal, and strategic at once: operating the camera, guiding the talent, and shaping the project. My bias toward storytelling carries through everything I do, whether it's an executive profile, a six-part training series, or a B2B podcast.
The set-up is always different. The discipline is always the same: show up early, listen and give feedback, miss no detail, leave the room like I found it.
I run lean on purpose. A larger studio means more hands, more meetings, more invoices. Clients I've worked with for years have told me they hire me because of what doesn't happen, not what does. No producer telephone-game. No third-string editor on the final cut. No bloated invoices. You brief me, and I deliver the work.
If that's the kind of person you want behind the camera, get in touch.
